California has great overtime laws and you always get compensated. In Los Angeles there is a lot of work oppurtunities, you can apply for almost all fast food resturants and have a high percentage of getting the job. also another option can be to look on websites like craigslist or pennysaver where there are ads everywhere with individuals or buisnesses are looking for workers.
