SPRING

Newberry has a very large farming and industrial backbone.
Downtown is quiet charming undergone a huge revitalization and our Opera House was refurbished in 1995 and
is open all year long with shows and performances.
There are many dining places, as well as two colleges.
Work is seasonal and full time in the farming. There are working farms who sell at Co-ops and Farmers Market
Dairy and Egg companies.

SUMMER

Summer in Newberry is very laid back
We have Dreher Island a large State Park that is maintined all year cabins, docks, fishing and hiking trails
Palmetto Conservation Fund opened the Peak to Prosperity Trail an eleven mile trail that has a tressel rail road for fishing and exersize.
Lake Muarry and Blacks Gate as well at Hollands Landing are premier fishing and camping areas.
You could make a several day trip in this county visiting Newberry, Whitmire, Prosperity and Little Mountain.

We have Jazz on the Lawn and many festivals all during the Summer months.

AUTUMN

What kinds of work are there in Newberry in autumn? Maybe it's harvest time, but do people need the help of foreigners for either cheap labour or expertise? This is the kind of thing we need to know here.
