There are many work opportunities in Sarasota during the Spring. Located along the Florida Gulf Coast, there is an abundance of wealth coming from the coastal regions where tourism flourishes.There are many retail and hospitality jobs due to the town's booming economy. Coastal jobs needed in the Spring time include lifeguarding, teaching at the local universities, managing shops in highly populated regions (Siesta Key & Lido Beach), and non profit occupations dealing with environmental education and clean ups.

Sarasota is primarily comprised of older white families, however, consistent tourism and a liberal arts influence from the local youth allow for great acceptance and tolerance of foreign workers. There are many different cultures and people in Sarasota. Foreign workers only contribute to Sarasota's cultural melting pot and advance business growth.
