WORK IN EDINBURGH ALL YEAR ROUND

Although during the winter it may required more time, in Edinburgh you will always find a job within the hospitality sector. Kitchen porter, chef, waiting staff, bar attendant and house keeper, are the most popular jobs in this city because of the huge number of pubs, bar and restaurants. Besides, Edinburgh is famous for the several festivals and events which take place all the year round such as Hogmanay and the Fringe. So if you're looking for something fancier and funnier you can try to get a short term job in events, even though some previous experience is required.
If you're not up for hospitality/events jobs, you'll always find a marketing company which is looking for receptionists or sales assistant. Many of them hire young people with no experience and train them. Of course the salary is not the best but these kind of jobs are quite useful for your cv because of the interaction with public.
