WORK IN ARNHEM ALL YEAR ROUND
At the moment work is scarce in Arnhem, especially for recent graduates. There's a lot of empty buildings. Still, people try hard to make new projects happening.
At the moment there are a lot of refugees from Syria living in the area, and there is volunteer work available to help them adapt to their new surroundings, go on trips, create art and learn to play instruments, learn to ride a bike, etc.

ATTITUDE TO FOREIGNERS WORKING IN ARNHEM
Foreigners in Arnhem will be welcomed gladly, but with some suspicion too, since most foreigners in The Netherlands either go to Amsterdam or Rotterdam and don't move out of that region much. We don't have a university, but there's a wellknown art academy which houses some foreign students. People in Arnhem are creative, full of ideas and there's new shops and projects opening all the time. We're also a bit tough and like to be direct - see through any bullshit. At the moment, there's not a lot of work in Arnhem for anyone, so foreigners who could shake things up a bit are certainly welcome!
