ATTITUDE TO FOREIGNERS WORKING IN JAKARTA
The attitude of some foreigner in Jakarta is a bit outrages. I think as Indonesian I have a right contribute my opinion on how the foreigner should act in Jakarta. One should respect and try their best to obey the rules that we have in Jakarta, any rules, working rules, life rules, conversation rules, custom rules and etc. From my point a view, I've seen some of the foreigners eagerly wanted Indonesian people to follow their way of speaking, act, talking and working. I could agree at some points Indonesian should follow their ways (only the positive of course) like working attitude and manner attitude. But in conversation, the foreigner should at least learn to speak Indonesian. I mean, they live in Indonesia and work in this country. They also have to respect the colorful differences that we have here in Indonesia like customs, religions, and way of living. And they should not think that they prior and they can disrespect Indonesian people.
But all the things i said above is my opinion and not generally speaking but only some, because most foreigner have fully respect Indonesian people and their customs.
thank you
