WORK IN DES PYRENEES-ORIENTALES ALL YEAR ROUND
Work can be found all year round in this region. During the high season summer months this is mostly tourist work, but also during the winter months there is skiing in the Pyrenees. In addition to this, there is always maintenance work to be had all year round in rural areas.

SPRING
Getting reading for the impending tourist season so there should be work in tourist areas. There is also rural work to be had such as planting, ploughing etc.
SUMMER
Summer can be manic during the high tourist season, so there should be plenty of work in tourist areas.
AUTUMN
The grape harvest is a very important part of French life so there should always be harvest work that can be found. In addition to this there are many B&Bs and tourist areas where you can still find work.
WINTER
There is skiing in the Pyrenees-Orientales so opportunities for people to get work does exist in the winter. However, like other tourist areas, most parts of the region can be fairly quiet. Having said that, there is always preparation and maintenance work which needs to be done for the coming seasons.
ATTITUDE TO FOREIGNERS WORKING IN DES PYRENEES-ORIENTALES
Plenty of foreigners work in this region of France as it is a tourist region. The attitude to workers is generally a welcoming one.
