Vancouver is a melting pot culture by all means. Vancouver is home to many if not all cultures. The attitude toward foreigners is generally accepting, inviting and helpful. It is not often you will ask somebody for help, directions, or assistance and be ignored or denied. Different cultures are what makes this city Vancouver! You can't speak for everyone in regards to a question like this, but we like to meet you as much as you'd like to meet us. Attitude towards foreigners is not something that travelers should be worried about at all, so come on and see what all the hype is about! You are guaranteed to meet those with the same attitude and values along the way.
