Workers can look forward to learning our unique style of woodwork, working with horses, helping out in the organic garden, assisting in the kitchen and so much more. Its about what you want to get out of this and we try to fit in around what you want to get out of it. We offer accommodation and food in exchange for your contribution of effort. This is not about cheap labor and nor is it about cheap holiday options. So we have structured it like this. We find however that volunteers that stay longer than 3 weeks get into our rhythm and way of doing things and start to add value to our projects. And then we just do a straight swap of accommodation for effort. Reference letters at the end of your working adventure can also be arranged. And there is a lot for you to explore in our amazing surroundings and popular tourist sites. This includes hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains, horse trails, viewing bushman rock art, visiting Weenen Game Reserve, checking out the Midlands Meander More...or just chilling out with a great book. Workers will be hands on and would need to get their hands dirty from time to time.
