Workers Wanted for Hostel in Peru

There are many different opportunities for volunteering. You could help at the hostel with the check in and guest relations, being around and ready to help at anything they might need. In exchange you would have breakfast, free accommodation at the hostel, in a room with private bathroom and wifi, use of a fully equipped kitchen and hot water 24/7. Hours would be early in the morning, from 6 to 9 am, and another 3 - 4 hours in the evenings. You would have most of the day for yourself for tours, hikes and treks, and the opportunity of a flexible schedule in case you want to take advantage of your stay and decide to go on early morning hikes or more than one day treks. Even though you will have plenty of time to explore the city and its surroundings and we will actually give you the best advice as to how to make the most of your stay, we are not interested in anyone viewing this as “all about partying”: we expect nothing less than the highest work ethic for we consider that our reputMore...ation with the guests is our most valuable asset and we do not wish to risk it with a bad service under any circumstances. Another opportunity for volunteering would be at our bar. We own a resto bar that you could find in almost every travel book, highly recommended by its unique style, with plenty of different areas where you could help: waiting tables, preparing drinks, as a DJ or even helping with the administration. Volunteering hours would be from 10 pm to around 3am- unless it is a slow night of course-, although very few actually want to leave before the party is over! We will provide you with accommodation at our hostel (bar is found half a block from the main plaza and therefore 5 min away walking from the hostel) and cab rides for when you wish to return home by car. Last but not least, there are more volunteering opportunities with a travel agency we are associated with. They give information about tours at the hostel, and should you wish to volunteer with them either by promoting different tours or helping in other areas, you would get the chance to go on the tours for free and also get a commission based on the number of tours you are able to sell.
