Workers at our hostel can participate in many of the wilderness activities so they can better share the information with travelers. Workers get projects to complete rather than a certain of amount of time to put in. We find this makes it easier and clearer for everyone and very rarely does a day exceed the 4 hours. Fast workers really have great time and laid back workers appreciate the easy pace. Projects range from caring for the tropical gardens, helping with canoe and bike maintenance, cleaning the sleeping house or kitchen house, helping to facilitate communal dinners and helping travelers by answering their questions about our area.
