Workers Wanted for Farm in Pennsylvania, USA
Work consists of planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting the salad and vegetable crops and caring for the animals. There are also several other projects that we are working on this season, including building housing infrastructure (cob and straw bale cabin) and further developing the perennial gardens (edible and medicinal herbs and food forest). We typically work in the morning, take a long afternoon break (to jump in the creek and cool off!), then work again in the early evening. Three Sisters is an educational facility, and we are planning on hosting a permaculture design course in the late summer and other smaller workshops throughout the season.
