Workers Required for Organic Farm in South Africa.

We are looking for like-minded persons to come and assist when and where they can. Previous experience in farming would be much appreciated, skills such as building, cooking, child minding and the use of a chainsaw would be an added bonus. We require a stay of a minimum of 2 weeks (OR longer, should you like to) working 6 to 8 hours a day 5 days a week. We offer road trips, picnics and outings(even educational outings) to places that not many get to see, like through pristine indigenous forests to beautiful waterfalls and trips to the highest point in Limpopo province and for this we ask a donation at AA rates to cover the costs of the vehicle. Weekends are usually packed with long walks, swimming in rivers and dams, sliding down waterfalls, or just dancing to some "good ol' Rock 'n Roll" in the garden. Summer weekends are dominated by outside Braais(BBQ) and the famous South African "Potjie Kos' Current projects are establishing vegetable gardens and installing a second "donkeyMore..." geyser(The foundation has already been laid, and building will start just as soon as its dried properly). A very important project that we need to embark on as soon as possible is the building of a secure chicken coop as the mongoose are decimating our chicks and destroying laid eggs. Help on the design and construction of the coop is desperately needed. There is Wi-Fi internet connection on the farm as well as a Skype account for those that would like to use it, it is free of charge. A Facebook link above has been added to our profile, so you can take a look at the progress we've been making. Hide
