BisonQuest Ranch Volunteer positions

We accept volunteers during the summer months of May through August (sometimes into the fall, but that's sporadic). We run a bison reserve, guest ranch, wildlife consulting firm with attendant bison, chickens, etc., so work and jobs are varied depending on what we need at any one time. We may have you do fence repair, work on water pipes or tanks, or put up fences to protect wildlife habitat. As wildlife biologists, we are constantly working to improve the ranch for wildlife and have several habitat manipulation projects going on including weeding, putting up fence enclosures to protect aspen and other habitat, stream and pond work to improve the aquatic and riparian areas, etc. If we have paying guests while you are here, you will spend a fair amount of time helping with that (helping with meals, clean up, generally whatever we need help doing to take care of the guests while they are here). We have an organic garden that is used to feed the ranch and you will almost assuredly spend sMore...ome time every day working in it or being involved in other landscaping activities.
