VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT UPENDO DAYCARE CENTRE, MWANZA IN TANZANIA, EAST AFRICA

Upendo Daycare Centre is a program of Early Childhood Education and Development of the non-profit organization named Hope for the Destitute People's Foundation - HDPF working in Magu District, Mwanza region in Tanzania, East Africa. Upendo offer free pre-school education, care, food, love and shelters to orphans and vulnerable children aged between 3 to 5 years old. As our service are ffree of charge and we rely on donations most of time we call volunteers to handle teaching activities and counseling to these kids. We want to give these kids opportunity to experience the culture, teaching services and sharing ideas with people from different corner of the world. The subjects taught are English, Reading, Kiswahili, Maths, Creative Arts, Science. We offer free accommodation and breakfast as the volunteer will live with a host family prepared for him/her. The volunteer will have a free time daily as the work is for 3 to 4 hours, so he/she can still explore many things in the villaMore...ge or Mwanza region while volunteering with. We are at few 3 hours drive from Serengeti National Park and 2 hours drive from Saanane Island National Park and 18 hours drive from Rubondo National Park. So, planning a safari will be easy.
