Volunteer English Teachers Required

Our volunteer teaching program is providing opportunities for poor village children in Yangshuo's rural schools to practice speaking English to foreign visitors.All we ask is that you help teach these children, two forty five minute classes in the afternoons. By improving their basic and oral English skills, the students will have a greater opportunity to continue with education or to secure employment, especially in the tourism and service industry. The school also have classes for adults of all levels.Most of them quit their jobs or took a leave in order to improve their English and to create employment opportunities .They are eager to learn and really need your help to improve their oral English. All it takes is ~4 hours of your time a week and the will to have a great time. The most important qualification is that the volunteer speaks clear, understandable English. Equally as important is the desire to help make a difference, enthusiasm and a great sense of fun. We are commiMore...tted to helping these people realize a better future. Free accommodation and meals are provided for volunteers who give a week or more. A volunteers cost is virtually nil once they arrive in Yangshuo. Hide
