Work can be year round depending on your skills. If your only skill is working with tourists and hospitality industry, then it is seasonal. If you have construction experience, there is always construction in Honolulu so there will always be work.

SPRING
spring is slow season and can be difficult to find work. May is the slowest month in Hawaii
SUMMER
Summer is peak season for tourists so there is amble work.
AUTUMN
What kinds of work are there in Honolulu in autumn? Maybe it's harvest time, but do people need the help of foreigners for either cheap labour or expertise? This is the kind of thing we need to know here.
WINTER
There is only snow on Maunakea on the big island and its not enough for skiing. Winter is very busy for tourists, December-Feburary, anything from leading tours driving tour busses, working in a restaurant, or hostel there will be work.
ATTITUDE TO FOREIGNERS WORKING IN HONOLULU
There is no negative attitude towards foreigner working in honolulu. there is negative attitudes towards "outsiders" who are disrespectful to the lands and culture of the hawaiian people. As long as you are a decent human being and are respectful and don't liter there will be no negative attitudes towards you.
