My skills

The main focus of my career so far has been the legal industry. After finishing my law degree in Barcelona (Spain) and a semester abroad in Cornell Law School (Ithaca, NY), I completed my education with a masters in corporate and commercial law and went on to work as a corporate lawyer, first for one of the largest Spanish law firms (3 years), and then for a British law firm (5 years).

Recently, I decided to take some time off and now I'm looking for new experiences and opportunities that would allow me to travel, meet new people, live abroad, learn new languages and see the world through a different lense. Both my college and working experience have provided me with many valuable skills that allow me to adapt quickly and feel comfortable in any kind of situations. I have good interpersonal skills, a high sense of protocol and a strong motivation to help people. I speak several languages and have experience both in document translation and live interpretation, mainly with combinations of Spanish, Russian and English. I also have work experience as a campus tour guide for prospective students and their parents for the admissions office of my university, as a secretary / receptionist, as a horse carer, and as a latin dance teacher. All of these compley unrelated at first glance, but that make me into a highly ambivalent and qualified person and most importantly highly motivated and a quick learner!

About Me

Originally from Moscow, I moved to Spain with my family when I was 9 years old. After graduating from an American High School in Valencia, I moved to Barcelona in order to study my Law Degree and ended up living in this beautiful city for almost 12 years. My passion lies in traveling, reading (mostly historic novels), dancing, and connecting with people. My main hobbies are horseback riding and salsa dancing. I am strong believer that yoga and mediation must form part of our daily live, no matter where, when, or how we decide to live. I consider myself a "variety seeker" and love to seize the moment and make the most out of any opportunity that life presents me with. I love learning about different cultures and always try to follow my curiosity. If I could ask for an impossible, I would ask to be able to speak all the languages and dialects in the world. If you want to know more about me, send me a message and I'll be happy to answer any questions.
