WORK EXPERIENCE:

I am open to working in different types of jobs and careers. I used to work in different retail stores where I assisted customers in buying a variety of items. I was organized , friendly , polite , and helpful to customers and I managed to complete all my tasks on time and I made sure my environment was neat and organized. I am also interested in teaching English as a second language.

In addition , I did work for a contractor construction company in Dubai where I edited and wrote content for different businesses , ed different companies to offer services from my company because my company provided materials and workers for different engineering and construction projects here in Dubai. I have international experience due to attending different international schools in Africa when I was younger , where I was surrounded by different cultures and I can incorporate this experience into my ESL teaching. I also have experience volunteering for an Indian-American cultural organization in America where I helped to gather business names and organize cultural events for the organization.

In general , I like connecting with other people and different communites , I like to talk to others and get to know them and I like sharing my interests and culture with them ; I am very helpful and understanding and I can incorporate these skills and experiences into different types of jobs.

EDUCATION:

Graduated Cum Laude with Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from landmark college in America

·      Final GPA:

·      For a college study abroad program with my class, we visited Ireland and Scotland where we completed classes through a study abroad program through landmark college.

·      For my degree, I completed a community service project for the science department by researching tree species on campus and taking photos and completing research and sending it to my science teacher to be uploaded in the college’s newsletter. In addition , my final college project was about ancient prehistoric American history and archaeology. 

·      I completed a 120-hour ESL teaching certificate to teach the English language under the International TEFL and TESOL training program.

SKILLS AND ACTIVITIES:

·      Lived in three African nations – Cote d’Ivoire (1996-1999), Senegal (2001-2004), and Tanzania (2007-2011) where I participated in local educational, cultural and sports activities and have international experience due to attending different international schools overseas.

·      Knowledge of spoken French & Hindi.

·      Proficient in using Microsoft applications including Microsoft Word & Microsoft PowerPoint. I am great at taking notes , proofreading , and writing papers.

·      Member of the International Club at my college where I organized and chose different cultural activities and events.

·      Interested in the humanities, history, anthropology, sciences, arts, different languages, and archaeology. My areas of interest are the humanities , arts and sciences.

·      I enjoy reading, dancing, and ling others about history, different cultures, and the world. I find that these subjects are interconnected and important for everyone to know.
