I got two years of collage through a special program while I was still in high school. After that I worked at a golf course when I was eighteen for six months. The work I did there was mostly just to keep the course nice by picking up the golf balls on the driving range and re-filling our range ball machine. I would also clean the bathrooms, repair divots throughout the course, just check around the course sort of doing landscaping work to make sure everything was nice and then I would also work the counter selling things inside. At the same time I was working there I worked at my church as a janitor. I cleaned pretty much the whole church, and would just make sure only the people who were supposed to be there were there so we didn't have random people wandering our church. The next job I got was at a huge plant that shipped wine across the United States by rail in a very short amount of time. I was in charge of keeping the warehouse clean, taking inventory of all the damaged products, and whenever we had special projects like labeling cases of wine I ran the crew we would bring in to help with that. While there I learned how to drive a forklift and work in a factory setting. I also worked more on leadership crews as I had to manage the special project crews. I worked there for 6 months and then I got a better job doing construction with my friend. Our company built homes and our job was to go to the different sites and make sure they were clean but we also did many of the construction jobs too. We helped do wiring in houses, poured concrete, did framing, put in carpet, cabinets, dry wall, insulation, doors, and windows. We pretty much did every job that there is when building a house. I worked there for close to a year but me decided I needed a change. Now I am twenty and looking to travel some place new and work.
