About Me

Hi! My name is Tucker and I am 22 year-old recent graduate from the University of Maryland. I have recently gained an appreciation for traveling the world and learning about other cultures after backpacking through Europe for a month. I am currently taking a year off before hopefully entering medical school in the Fall of 2017 and hope to continue to travel and learn about myself and others. During the past 5 summers I have lived in Ocean City, Maryland, a high energy vacation destination on the east coast of America. I work as an ocean lifeguard and bartender/server/barback during the summers and love working with and serving people! Given appropriate weather I like to hike, surf, swim and do anything active! In my spare time I like to read fiction (mainly mystery novels), play guitar and ukulele and sing. I really enjoy sightseeing, taking pictures and making videos from my travels or for my friends. After days of work and travel I generally like a quiet evening, but also enjoy going out, having a few drinks and watching sports or dancing. My philosophy on life focuses on people - the more good things you do for others, the better a life you'll have, even if they are not the ones repaying you for good deeds. Making others happy is the best way to spread positivity to the world.
