About Me
I’m Temi, I'm 26, and I am currently travelling around Europe. I am keen to travel to Germany, Greece, Italy, Indonesia and the UAE. I'm an advertising professional; and previously have been a strategist at some of the biggest media and digital agencies in the UK and Australia
I completed my degree in Kingston, Canada, and then began my career in London (where I'm from) for three years in the digital media and marketing industry, but over the years working I realised that a huge, fast-paced city like London isn't for me and I wanted a different pace of life, which is why I moved to Australia for a year to work and travel.
While I find the digital advertising profession industry and it is definiy one of my passions, my other passion is fitness, health and food. I have my own food & fitness site - ,com where I discuss the latest fitness or nutrition challenges I'm learning about or partaking. I'm a self-taught cook and I love to make delicious and wholesome vegetarian/vegan/pescetarian food. I have such a huge interest in these areas and it is something I would eventually like to my "work."
I'm looking to take a "career break," to take some time-out to really focus on my fitness and mental health. I hope to volunteer somewhere that is a holistic health & wellness focused or at least like-minded. I have my nutritional therapy qualification, and my group exercise fitness training qualification. Alongside my expertise in digital marketing and advertising (social media marketing, eCRM, development (content strategy & planning), digital media). I have also previously taught English as a second language to children and teenagers.
I would like time to relax while also being able to contribute back in a positive way - either via tasks or skills-sharing. For a career break I could just go and sit on a beach somewhere, but I know that the boredom would eventually drive me up the wall! I'd much rather prefer to volunteer while travelling, and having the freedom that isn't afforded to you when working full-time.
