The Hideaway is a small guest house, family owned, simple, laid back and don't care much for commercialism. We have a total of 10 rooms, 4 local staff and 2 tour-guides on stand by. What you see is what you get. We are located on west coast of the island 'Eua (aka 'the forgotten island) off the the south-east coast of the main island Tongatapu. 'Eua island is the oldest island in Tonga, and one of the oldest island in the South Pacific (over 40 million years old) and has the only rain forest and national park in Tonga. 'Eua island is the eco--tourist destination of Tonga with natural beauty of its flora and fauna; bird life and marine life. Tourism in 'Eua is low commercialised, with only local operators in guest houses, scuba dive, whale swimming, hiking and tours and other activities. Experience the real island peaceful atmosphere. It is 7 minutes by flight and hrs ferry ride from main island to 'Eua.
