I worked for an agency that caters for different events at different venues. I worked for a variety of different functional events which dealt with a wide range of customers and colleagues. Although I loved working for this company, it was a zero hour contract so I began to search for a job that would offer me more hours where I then began working for Lowri Beck whilst also continuing to work for Berry as you can accept or decline shifts as you please. Working directly with customers helped to develop my customer service skills and communicative skills and helped to enhance my ability of

Over the summer when the university year had ended, I worked at Londis which is a convenience store where I regularly opened up the shop independently and managed the whole shop by myself for the first part of the morning. I also coordinated the deliveries and stock checked whilst maintaining a clean environment for the customers. It helped to expand my customer service skills as I served a diverse range of people and it boosted my confidence with dealing with a shop independently.

Zest Hospitality: June-September 2013:

I became a waitress for Zest Hospitality which catered for different venues for a variety of different functions and provided good customer service to all customers. It gave me very good experience as it is a company which caters for a range of different venues all over England and taught me the importance of being a respectable and smart, professional worker. I had to set up the venue and I was briefed with the menu in order to answer customer questions efficiently. This job helped my communication and customer service skills grow.

Customer Service Advisor: 2013

This was a temporary job within an agency called The Hut Group where I was worked as and when they needed me part-time during the end months of college in order to gain work experience. My role was part of a customer service team and I had to work independently, as well as in a team. I had to respond to customer queries and complaints and issue refunds and returns if necessary, whilst ing each customer with a professional response. A lot of the work included databases which helped to expand my computer skills. I made sure I was polite and communicative with the clients and ensured that I aided them to the best of my ability.
