Conservation Area Grounds Keeper Summer 2013 – 2015
Christie Lake Conservation Area, Dundas, ON
• Maintained around 250 acres of park grounds - cut grass, pruned, gardened
• Operated and maintained heavy equipment such as: TORO zero-turn mower, John Deere tractor and tri-deck mower, New Holland front loader, Chevrolet hydraulic-lift dump truck, weed-whacker, leaf blower
• Trained and oriented up to 10 employees regarding procedures, safety, and equipment operation
• Inspect work of crews while work is in progress and upon completion
• Operated the boat rental service – dealt with approx. 300 customers and handled money daily
• On-call First Aid provider along beachfront for minor injuries or emergencies
• Performed moderate construction and concrete projects – installed soccer nets and sign posts


Dishwasher Fall/Winter 2013
Quatrefoil Restaurant, Dundas, ON
• Washed dishes with industrial dishwashing equipment and by hand, for groups of up to 200
• Trained 2 employees regarding procedures, safety, and equipment operation

General Labourer/Gardener Summer 2012

• Performed farming activities such as planting, cultivating, irrigating and applying fertilizer
• Worked in the store – dealt with up to 150 customers on weekends, and handled money

• Played board games, cards and socialized with Senior residents once a week for over a year
• Provided psychological assistance and ensured safety of residents

• Led new grade 9 students through ice-breaker games and orientation activities in small groups, as well as tours of the school (approx. 15 students per group)
