My skills

I had the opportunity to work for two summers as a maintenance staff in a childeren camp based in the USA, state of Maine. (Camp is called Wyonegonic Camps) Our responsibility was keeping the camp in great shape, which contained duties such as carpentery, landscaping, plumbing, cleaning, working at the stables and basically everything else what was needed. (2 summers, 9 months experience in total)

My experience also encompasses working as an installer for company based in Canada, which focuses on home renovation, mostly bathrooms and kitchens. (12 months experience)

Additionally, I'm freelance videomaker / photographer / site designer so if there is someone who needs some help with promo or marketing I am more than willing to help! I was working as a videomaker and photographer for non-profit organization Board of European Students of Technology. This opportunity was closely connected with a marketing side of the organization and involved creating promo videos, commercials, etc. I have also produced a commercial with the World Aeropress Champion 2015, Lukas Zahradnik.

About Me

I'm 24 years old male from Czech republic, Mechanical engineering graduate who's currently travelling the world. I'm passionate about learning new things, filmmaking, volunteering, food, people and much
I'm beginner in Spanish, but I'm studying as much as I can and I also live with people from Ecuador in this moment, which allows me to practise.

Why do I want to be involved in something like this?
I think, it's the best way to travel, meet inspiring people and actually learn something new or even teach someone something new. Moreover, I also believe that by volunteering person helps ,not only, the other side but mainly to himself, because feeling of being helpful is one of the most fulfilling.

Favorite quotes/proverbs/sayings:
"Don't give me a fish, teach me how to fish."
"It doesn't matter what you do, only how well you do it."
"Use your best talents to make greater good."

Some of 2016's goals:
-read 50 books (I've already got 20, hehe)
