My skills
I have experience dealing with children, teaching them various subjects ranging from English to Science, Maths and even History. My passion is to teach and share knowledge with children that are ready to learn; even with those that are special or disabled. I would love to travel in around Asia, absorbing the different cultures while providing my services as a teacher as I know how important the English language is in the developing world.

My experience is mostly teaching related as I am a private tutor for various subjects here in Malaysia for both the local government syllabus as well as Cambridge IGCSE syllabus for international schools. Subjects I have covered include: English, Science, Biology, Chemistry, History, Geography and Mathematics for children from 13 to 19 years of age.
Besides that, I have also tutored adults with minimal English language background to reach a certain level of fluency.
My postgraduate studies in a renowned Malaysian University related to ocean studies and global warming in the tropical regions adds to my experience in the environmental sector. I have also joint in volunteer activities conducted by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Malaysia related to turtle conservation and mangrove replantation.
About Me
As mentioned in the Full CV section, I am a private tutor of various subjects by profession as teaching is my passion. However at the same time, I am extremely go-green type of person. Besides tutoring to earn a living, I am completing my post graduate studies related to ocean studies and global warming in the tropical regions such as Malaysia. Any opportunity to help contribute to saving the environment while travelling and learning about an unknown culture would also very much be welcome.
I also volunteer at a local Punjabi (my native culture) school to help teach young children (ages 4-8) basic Punjabi alphabets and relate religious stories to them in English as they understand this language better. My weekends are never complete without helping out here as they truly light up my days and keep me in the spirit of volunteering.
Overall, I am an outgoing person who loves to connect with others around me especially those who love nature, music, and spirituality. My religious beliefs as a Sikh have lead me towards the path of wanting to help and volunteer to serve for humanity as a whole as we are all children of 1 God; it really saddens me to see the divide certain groups create in the name of religion. I want to live to serve while learning and gaining knowledge about foreign cultures and this is the start of my journey. I only hope that some of you out there would be willing to give me a chance to experience the daily lives you live while contributing to your society.
