About Me

I am an outdoors enthusiast, and love anything from hiking, swimming at the beach, in rivers or lakes, backpacking, skiing, or simply reading outside in a park. I am very curious about that natural world and make it my goal to understand as much as I can about the plants and animals of any place I travel too. I am also an avid reader and can always be found with my nose in a book. I tend to prefer fiction but also appreciate science related books (particularly relating to Natural History). I like to stay in places that a travel for at least a couple of weeks because I really like to get immersed in the culture and discover places on my own. I am very friendly and patient and very good with children. I am passionate about conserving the biodiversity of the planet and trying to raise awareness about climate change. In the future I would like to work with children in nature and increase interest in the natural world.
