Host overview

This is a unique community set on the shores of Lake Malawi. We are involved in numerous community projects ourselves; nursery schools, youth club, internet and media centre, womens groups, special needs group, permaculture gardens at surrounding schools, radio group, amongst others and we try and encourage other people to come and volunteer in the community here. Some of these projects are on site and some are in the surrounding area, but Nkhata Bay is a bustly port town, though further away from town is remote and village like. Myself and Alice live on site as well and it has a unique vibe.
