WORK EXPERIENCE 

FreshMenu 

Team Lead - Content (Editorial) - August 2016 till Present 

• Manage and lead a team of young and enthusiastic writers


• Create content for all marketing campaigns (Newsletters, Banners etc)


• Liaise with Digital creative team to ensure the output is in sync with the brief


• Responsible for teams growth


• Training writers to abide to the company writing standards 


• Liaise with social media agencies to ensure they are in sync with our ideas


• Execute all social media campaigns


• In addition to my job description, I have also handled social media for an interim period of 3 months. During this I have taken care of all social media communication across Twitter, , Youtube etc

Assistant Manager - Editorial (April 2015 to Feb 2016)

• Manage a team of part time, full time and free lance writers


• Quality Assurance for all content on deals


• Provide regular training and feedback to the team based on skill gaps


• Liaise with city managers of Groupon and decide on priority of deals to ensure maximum revenue.


• Trained writer for sales oriented writing for deals and offers around the country.


• Responsible for creating wacky promotional campaigns for deals and offers.

Content Writer, Editorial (April 2013 – April 2015)

• Wrote creative content for service deals (Spas, salons, restaurants etc)


• Worked on product cataloguing and created different categories for the product page

Achievements

• Groupon - Star Performer (2 quarters)


• Recognized by the Groupon CEO as one of the top 30% of the employees


• Got selected for a marketing program out of a pool of 25 odd people who had applied for the role. This included creating offline marketing campaigns and social media campaigns to draw audiences to the site.


• Was recommended by my manager and selected by the CEO to head the content team during the re-branding phase of Groupon to nearbuy. Re-defined the tone of the content and worked on the nearbuy mobile app to create a new look and feel from the previously existing Groupon app.
