Hello! I am Nicole and I am looking forward to work and travel in Portugal, as well as learn some Portuguese! I really love learning new languages. I completed high school education in Hong Kong, I am currently studying in the United States as a college student. Later on, I will start pursuing my undergraduate degree in Spanish & Portuguese major. I have interesting travel experience and am always willing to share my own stories and exchange thoughts with others. Therefore, I am excited to be able to get a job in a hos, it would be an amazing opportunity for me to get to know people from different backgrounds and make new friends. I am a flexible person, I am easygoing under most of the circumstances and can always work things out in any sort of adversities. I also enjoy helping people, since it always makes me feel better about myself and that's where I can gain my confidence and grow. I believe that being able to work in a foreign country will satisfy all of my goals.
About Me
I am planning to take a Portuguese language course outside of my working hours. I would also love to travel around Portugal during my days off. Normally, in my spare time, I love to talk to my friends and get to know about their lives. I also hang out with them physically if we get a chance outside of my working schedule. When I want to have a quiet time alone, I enjoy reading books based on human mentality and psychology. I am interested in documentaries about different traditions of the world. Most of the songs I have on my Spotify playlist are in Spanish or Portuguese because music is the most effective way for me to learn languages, from what I discovered. My view of point about life is that we should do the things we find intimidating, or scary. That way you would be able to overcome your mental barrier and limits, know more about yourself and grow. That's what traveling is all about, and that's why I love it. It is very necessary to convince yourself that you are capable of dealing with any difficult task and that you are an awesome person. By doing so, you would be able to improve your self-esteem and confidence, the most important factors in having a healthy mentality that allows you to be ready for ups and downs. No matter how difficult the work seems, you will eventually complete the task. And when you finally reach the end, you will always look back and smile, because you are glad that you did not give it up in the first place. No pain, no gain.
