Aloha,

We are a Spanish-Polish couple, living in Canary Islands, where I born (Nau). Aleksandra born in Wroclaw (Poland), and she have lived in Norway, UK and USA west coast. I have lived in Barcelona, Cyprus and Hawaii, in the Island of Maui. (We have both European passports).

I have been working 15 years as an opto-mechanical engineer for astrophysics escopes () all around Europe, Hawaii and part of USA, but I decided to stop my job last February to pursuit my dream … et voilà! I am just finishing now a master degree to certificate as “math teacher” for high schools, following my passion (both my parents are teachers).  Aleksandra studied touristic technics, and is being working as a freelance therapist and AuPair, she has amazing skills for relaxing and work on bodies until you get totally off, I used to l her: “you have magic hands, able to disconnect people through an amazing massage and the atmosphere you creates”, it is something else. She is special with kids, backed by a vast experience on long term kid’s care, living along with families, at their houses.  I am frequently involve in projects with kids and teenagers, we are both Youth Workers for Europeans Program (Erasmus +).

At this point of our life, we know exactly what we want and what we need. We love to grow as human beings, to help others, to meet nice people, to learn, to try new things and to smile to life  and to people every day. We like to talk about things that unite people, not really interested in topics that divide our society. Unfortunay the old Europe society and many other areas in the world are focused in belongs, social status and selfishness, even in the Canaries, at the time that the archipelago become more and more populated. We want to explore ourselves living in a quiet and remote place, totally connected to nature, mountains and ocean. We just love it, we love camping, travel in our campervan (called Nomad), explore new places, learn new skills, share great vibes, take some wine under the sky with friends,…

Aleksandra is learning Spanish and I am trying to catch up with the basics in French, but I have wanted to learn French for many years, so I have been seeking for an opportunity to live for some time in a place where I can practice straight, forced by daily needs. We like challenges, so let´s go.

We met each other 10 years ago, in Cyprus Island, being part of an European Project about dance, theatre and music. We have grown a solid connection since then and now we are there, at that point, ready to explore together, and create our life adventures helping people in the other side of the world. We are living in a small old style house in Tenerife, we have our small garden where we grow oranges, lemons, aloe, coffee, and others goods. And yes, we got last month our first roasted coffee from our garden, after following the entire process, amazing.

Hobbies many, I work as a fire artist, vertical dancer and light performances (here you can check what is all that about ). I play trumpet, laud and drums, Alek is always surrounded by good music. We have a workshop at home, and you can expect to appear the Lyon King mask, a beautiful wood table or a custom fountain with solar water pump included. I like to build and repair things at home, our landlord is very happy with that and we have transformed this house in a marvellous place, landlord is more than happy, he is hyper happy.  Aleksandra is dedicated to Yoga practises, and I am more into the equilibrium and acrobatics. We both enjoy ocean and mountains, the city not really. We like the silent and the people laughing, interesting conversations with a real conversation, not just people talking. We practice canyoneering in lava tubes, sometimes very demanding hikes carrying 15 kg on our backs for many hours… just to reach a mind blowing remote beach and stay there for 4 days. If we are not camping, we usually eat at home, since we both like to cook and to experiment in the kitchen (mainly Alek, I need recipes ;-).

But it is time to travel, no matter how far, the journey is the path waiting to be explored.
