Host overview

Welcome to our Hoshina farm (which means wish/dream) in the Nagano Prefecture. Currently we are a group of international volunteers, in the beginning stages towards becoming a sustainable farm. Through the farm we hope to create an international cultural hub to attract young people back to the beautiful countryside. We are helping our neighbors keep our hillside an agriculturally productive area. More than 30 small fields that have been out-of-production for 5-20 years are now back in production.
