• January- April 2016 traveled in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Indonesia)
• March- June 2017 I lived in Quito, Ecuador. While in Ecuador I worked as a volunteer kindergarten teacher for 8 weeks. The following 4 weeks I worked as a volunteer staff member in a team of people who went into various markets and facilitated a school-like environment for children who are not fortunate enough to be able to attend school, and instead work many hours of the day to support their families.
While in South America I have learned and maintained a conversational level of Spanish and with further practice will soon become fluent.

About Me
Hello my name is Mitchell! My whole life I played sports, predominantly American Football and attended a University to play for their team. After a couple years I realized that there is so much more to life that I have not experienced and I decided I wanted to experiment and explore in order to find myself and what I truly am passionate about. I left school and headed to Asia for 3 months.
I returned and worked with children at a few elementary schools for about a year in order to save up money for my next journey. That brings me to the present day where I am now in Ecuador having spent my last 10 weeks volunteering as a kindergarten teacher and as a recreation leader in the marketplaces for children who don't have the opportunity to go to school.
I love working with children. I have a love for athletics. I have a rapidly growing desire to learn skills in agriculture (specifically in mycology and cultivating mushrooms). I absoluy love fruit. I am vegan. I love the beach and warm tropical weather. I love to read and learn from everything around me. I am fluent in English and have recently become intermediate in my ability to speak Spanish which is very exciting as it is my goal to become absoluy fluent.
Even if I do not have prior experience in your field, I would absoluy love to help out and learn about your universe and trade skills and knowledge!
