I am creative&confident, love meeting new people and I love seeing the world. I am caring, and have cared for the mentally unwell, vulnerable, or adults with learning difficulties in a clinical setting as a manager for 6years. I have experience with children and I am fluent in English, and willing to gain a teaching English qualification. I have also worked in hospitality in the past and would like to return to this at some point too, I am a fast learner and ready for many different challenges.

Throughout my time working for Lifeways Group, Future Home Care, I have gained experience in the care industry. Learning how to handle difficult and unexpected situations in a calm and reserved manner. I have training which ensures me to be able to resolve physically challenging behaviour. I have seen and handled challenging behaviour in this role and feel as though I have a genuine understanding of how to ensure safety for myself, and the person/people I am supporting along with other staff.
I have also gained experience in the paperwork aspect of my role, undertaking medication and finance audits, ensuring that all of the vulnerable adults I support are protected.
As well as building relationships with people I support and their families, and if they do not have the capacity to do so themselves, help to ensure that their relationships with their family stays stable and in .
Doing rotas and ensuring that projects are covered day to day to ensure safe staffing s, whilst also ensuring all shifts are uploaded onto the system to ensure people are paid correctly.
I have had lots of interaction with social services, local councils and other professionals whilst doing my job and
believe I have developed further my communication skills through this role.

2015-2019
I gained my food safety certificate, while working in hospitality from age 15-18. I gained good customer service skills and developed my communication skills even further. Handling busy environments from a young age and being able to work at a fast pace was something that came naturally to me. I carried this forwards into other roles.
Nursery volunteer ages 0-5.
I volunteered at age 15-16 at a nursery and here I developed a love for caring for people less able than me, I mainly worked with ages 3-5 and I find children very interesting and extraordinary, envouring their creativity, as well as literacy and numeracy skills, and ensuring that their development is recorded and positive feedback given to the children and the parents, ensuring that all children are safeguarded and protected when they are vulnerable. Also teaching them basic knowledge like the alphabet and helping them to develop their speech. Although a long time ago, this is something I would love to do again

Seeing the world has always been my priority in life, I find passion and desire in seeing the world and experiencing new cultures. I crave deep human connections and find that meeting new people brings immense confidence to my life. I love exploring and seeing new cultures different to my own. I also love music, and seeing people expressing their creativity through their music. I am very creative and love finding new projects where I can express myself and the creativity I am capable of.
