Set-Up and Operation Of multiple vertical milling platforms such as okuma, Mori

Seiki, Haas/Fanuc, Toyoda, Hardinge, and more. Day to day operations generally

includes the setup and programming of multiple jobs on multiple machines rather

it be production or prototype work. My responsibility generally extends to the

entirety of the part process for all prototype work, from raw material to finished

part and all quality specifications checks both during and after operations. For all

production run parts I set up I do first piece specs checks after setup then allow for

machine operator to take over for the duration of the run!

downs. The specific milling center under my care was dedicated to a large fly wheel

cover housings part for Caterpillar Construction and industrial Trucks. Further job

responsibilities includes:

• Set-Up Of Milling Center

• Maintenances Of Milling Center

• Responsible for stocking 130 Tool Magazine

• 72 Point Check on first piece using multiple Gauges and measuring devices

• Blueprint Interpretation

• Program Editing and Offsets

Use measurement tools to insure that the dimensions machined are to specifications.
