Private Nanny/Assistance | Mission Viejo, CA

Looked after a now fourteen-year-old boy with duties including: driving him to and from school and daily activities in a timely manner, finding creative ways to keep him entertained, tutoring and helping with his school/extracurricular projects, leading by example, and teaching him to become an esteemed, respectful, and self-sufficient individual.
Assisted the family in helping maintain and organizing the family's individual schedules to increase efficiency, cooking meals and snacks, running errands, light cleaning, pet sitting, house sitting, and helping in every possible way I can.
I have developed a great relationship with the family and have participated in family functions, attended their children's performances, helped organize and manage a Bar Mitzvah party, and even formed a ukulele duo with the father!

Lead Instructor | Brainbuilders Education | Orange County, CA 

Led the instruction of science, technology, engineering, and mathematical concepts to school-aged children with the use of LEGO and related products to enhance creativity, problem-solving, and team-working skills.
Worked closely with the owner, company staff, school faculty, and independently -- depending on the needs of the classes and events to provide the best possible education for the students.
Taught classes for home-school, in-school, and afterschool programs, as well as events, summer camps, and birthday parties.

Behavior Specialist | David Paltin PhD | Anaheim, CA 

Performed specialized efforts to help a nineteen-year-old with agoraphobia conquer his fears of leaving his house and engaging in daily activities.
Supervised the teen's behavior and attitude when facing difficult situations, and responded appropriay.
Organized and managed the weekly schedule based on his progress and overall well-being.
Worked under the supervision of a licensed psychologist to discuss the patient's behavior, progress, and therapy techniques.

January 2013 - April 2014

Lead Counselor | Spectrum Therapeutic Theater | Orange, CA 

Led children and adolescents with Asperger's and Spectrum disorder in developing social skills, improving social confidence, learning styles of communication, emotional recognition, and reciprocal interaction through performing arts.
Promoted a fun and safe environment for the children to become creative, while monitoring their individual and group behavior to ensure safety and structure.
Communicated with the children's parents in-person to report progress and accommodate their questions and needs.
Performed a final show with the children showcasing their talents, incorporating what they learned through the program, for their family and friends!

Skills and Interests 

Very personable, I always try to bring the best out of everybody. I like to stay positive, help others, and allow others to help me.
Passionate musician that writes, composes, sings, teaches, performs, and plays the ukulele. I have been involved in numerous performances, productions, events, choir tours, programs, and charities circulating around music.
Well traveled, I backpacked through 11 countries in Europe over two months, and I will be traveling Southeast Asia for a year through work-stays and volunteering.
I am forever a student; I try to learn from every single person I meet. I enjoy expanding my knowledge in anything that piques my interest, learning and applying new skills "hands-on", and challenging myself to learn any skill or complete any task.
