A highly motivated and dynamic graduate from the University of Birmingham obtaining a First Class Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Modern Languages (French) & European Studies. After having completed challenging yet enriching academic studies, including a year studying in France, I moved to the French Caribbean Island, Guadeloupe, to work as an English language teacher. I am recognised for being creative, versatile, and confident, as well as achieving the highest standards. Succeeding to become fluent in a foreign language, I am highly determined, goal-orientated, and organised, with strong communication skills and intercultural awareness. • Dissertation researching French Policy on Africa during Sarkozy’s presidency.
• French modules involving cultural, historical, and political analysis of France since 1800’s to present day. European Studies modules on translation theory and practice and comparative European political history.

June 2014 – Present | Temporary worker for Huntress recruitment agency, Receptionist: Sanofi Pharmaceutical Company, Elstead Chiropractic Clinic, Hunters Land Rover car dealership (Surrey.)
• Strengthened skills and dealing with face-to-face enquiries, improved general administrative tasks, and ability to quickly adapt and learn fast to new systems.

November 2014 – April 2015 | English Language Assistant: French National Education, (Guadeloupe).
• Giving English language and culture classes at two secondary schools and one Sixth-form college (students aged 11-24).
• Planning and teaching to large groups of adolescents and young adults improved my leadership skills, organisation, assertiveness, ability to communicate, actively listen and perform effectively under pressure.

• Highly rewarding experience providing play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people. Training on first aid, child protection and inclusion policies, behaviour management and makaton (form of communication through words, signs, and pictograms).
