About Me
Dear friends,
My name is Liubov which means 'love'/'amor'. Let me introduce myself a bit.
I am 22 years old, I live in Moscow and am currently combining my hobby with work - I'm an administrator at a Yoga Federation.
I am a supporter of internationalism and I like to understand the roots and development of different cultures and countries, embodied in like-minded young people as myself. I believe we should strive for a mutual understanding in the world.
I like communicating with different people, in different languages, to learn new things from them, to l them something special. My volunteering experience at the hos in Sevastopol, the Hero-City at the Black Sea, is a testimony to my traits as having almost a universal patience and love for all people, and the ability to find a common language with every person.
About five years ago I discovered that Spanish is an incredibly beautiful language and started learning it. I now have my B-2 2 level at the Cervantes' Institute in Moscow. I know the language sufficiently enough to read, communicate with people and listen to my favorite Spanish songs, like the strong lyrics of SKA-P.
I like working with people, because it makes me feel more useful - focusing my energy towards positive and meaningful work.
I've been participating in the volunteer project "old age in pleasure" for several years. With this organization I help the elderly in nursing homes. For example, for New Year I bought and put together gifts for these elderly people. Then I collected and loaded tens of thousands of presents for retirees who are left alone. We wanted to make the festive season special for them too.
I also worked with the youths in my area. I conducted tours in a local park, spoke about its history and the environmental problems of the city.
Volunteering is very important to me, because I feel like if I can help someone – I will always try to do it.
I probably won’t surprise anyone with my hobbies: good books, old classic rock, travel and different musical instruments. If all of these hobbies are popular now, then I think the fashion trends are quite positive.
One my dreams is Santiago de Composa. I am convinced that I can walk it and that it will be great, but I need to prepare for it, both morally and physically, so for now it's still a dream for the future.
