About me Whilst I work mainly in film production, I have done a variety of waiting jobs and find my
production skills very useful when it comes to catering work. I work well under pressure, always remaining energetic, calm and optimistic which helps to keep people in high spirits on shoot. My interpersonal skills allow me to work well with a variety of personalities and to help people as and when it is needed.
Work History
March 2018 - present Cutter and Squidge - General Manager
I have worked my way quickly from Supervisor to Assistant Manager and then to General
Manager. In my current role I manage about 30 members of staff, with about 10 working at
any one time. I organise my team to make sure customers are happy and sales are high I ensure that the cafe runs smoothly on a day to day basis and make sure all stock is ed for, in date and tidy. I train staff so that they can make sure everything is in keeping with the Cutter and Squidge brand, how to keep the cafe clean and safe and they understand how to make each day a success. My other responsibilities include taking care of orders, rotas and health and safety - amongst other things.
May 2016 - L’atalier Des Chefs - Waiting Staff
Present Working mainly at business events and occasionally at cooking classes and speed dating
(Freelance) events. Keeping the venue clear of dirty plates and glasses. Ensuring all drinks are kept
topped up with the specific beverages that the company has chosen to purchase. Setting out tables according to the type of event that the venue is holding. Talking to customers to ensure they feel welcome and enjoy their time at the venue.
September 2016 Drum - Talent Runner for Walkers ‘Perfect Pairings’:

Paddy fed and ensuring he had enough to drink at all times
Working with the other Production Runners and the Production coordinator ensure all cast
and crew had everything they needed in order to be able to do their job - including food,
water and snacks.
Cleaning up at the end of the day and checking that no equipment was left behind and the location was left tidy.
August 2016 Drum - Production Assistant for McDonald's ‘Good Times’:
(Freelance - Hired Keeping a large crew organised whilst ensuring that members of the public were unaware
by Maree Gecks) of any filming going on in the McDonald’s restaurant.
Managing extras on set to ensure no one knew Little Mix were involved until we were filming so that the surprise element of the film was achieved.
July 2016 1st Avenue Machine - Production Manager for Visit Guernsey ‘Great Memories’:

accordance with tides and daylight hours.
Organising catering and ensuring the all crew and cast were well fed and hydrated in the
hot weather.
August 2014 - The Edge Picture Company - Production Assistant:
May 2016 Researching locations and actors in accordance with a strict brief and tight budget.
Making sure places to eat were nearby and that all dietary requirements could be met on shoot.
Liaising with clients on ideas.
Ensuring that crew, client and actors were kept happy and safe on shoot.
April 2012 – Home Fundraising - Team Leader:
August 2012 Organising and training my team so that they knew exactly how to speak to people in
order to get the most sign ups for the charity we were working for at the time.
Keeping a confident and friendly manner when talking to potential customers in order to make them feel comfortable and informed about where their money would be going.
I was always within the top ten fundraisers in London.
September 2010- House Of Fraser - Sales Assistant, Biba:
April 2011 Consistently within the top five sales people on the women’s floor, often achieving the
highest sales.
Assisting customers, making them feel confident in clothes they were trying on and give them an experience that would make them want to come back to the shop.
Keeping the shop floor clean and presentable.
August 2010 - Il Bottaccio - Waiting Staff
March 2011 Catering for large parties, including children’s parties and business events and keeping
myself presentable and friendly at all times.
Ensuring all plates were cleared away, drinks were topped up and that food was circulated
amongst guests.
