I have volunteered before during my travels using different platforms, such as wwoof, and .
I have experience volunteering at a hos in Northern Ireland (reception tasks, checking-in/-out guests, working with booking management systems, helping guests with information about the area, itineraries and recommendations, mantainence work, cleaning, making beds, doing laundry, preparing breakfast). I also volunteered at a small airbnb guesthouse in Italy.
I have some experience with farming and gardening. I volunteered in a few farms in Scotland (seeding, harvesting fruits and vegetables, picking edible flowers, picking berries, assembling vegetables boxes, planting Camellia sinensis trees, picking tea leaves and making different kinds of tea), Israel (pruning cherry trees, blackberries and raspberries bushes), Romania (planting trees, picking edible mushrooms and wild cranberries, drying herbs, leaves and flowers for tea, making jams and preserves, drying mushrooms), England (gardening, weeding, planting and transplanting flowers, building pathways, restoring chicken coops, looking after chickens and ducks), Thailand (permaculture initiation and studies, initiation to Korean natural farming, working with different types of composting, making organic fertilizers with indigenous microorganisms, watering, seeding, weeding, taking care of banana trees, picking roselle flowers, digging holes, cleaning ponds, making charcoal, building compost bins, looking after sheep).
I'm a Physicist and Science book editor with 7 years of experience in the field (coordinating projects and revising material for publication, preparing and rewriting copy, proofreading, copywriting). My experience is mostly with Brazilian Portuguese though.
I have a few years of experience teaching weekly introductory Astronomy topics to kids and coordinating night sky observations at an educational observatory.

I am passionate about traveling, learning new languages and getting to know different cultures.
