About Me
My name is Laura Mepsted, I grew up in the small coastal town of waihi beach, New Zealand with my parents and an older brother. Waihi Beach has a population of roughly 2000 people and is situated on the East Coast of the North Island in the Bay of Plenty area. I grew up right by the beach, swimming everyday in the warmer seasons. I love to do anything at the beach, swimming, surfing, snorkeling etc. Wherever I am living, if there isn't a beach nearby I don't feel at home.
I love learning about different cultures and like to share a bit about my own countries culture. One of my goals on this OE is to learn another language. I would love to say I can speak two fluent languages!
