Ø 2014-2015: Participant of a cultural exchange programme, on which I lived with a host-family and attended public school in the city of Williamsburg (state of Virginia, USA).

Personal qualities, strengths and weaknesses:

I consider myself an accurate and conscientious person. I am always responsible for my duties and never leave any part of work undone. I am flexible and eager to learn something new, and never deny a possibility to try new activity and meet new people. My strengths are multitasking and ability to work efficiently both individually and in a team. I can claim myself an excessive perfectionist, as I always need to get the best results and can spend too many efforts on it. Besides, I find it hard to follow a strict time management plan as I prefer to spend more time for a better result, although my resourcefulness always helps me to do my best.

Special skills: computer literacy, ability to work with social networks. I am good at drawing and taking pictures, and enjoy making placards and posters on different topics. I also enjoy cooking.

Volunteering experience:

Ø 2013: Volunteer in eco project. During my work as a guide I acquainted primary school students with the environment and ecological characteristics of Tyumen; told them about rare plants and animals of the town, why they had almost disappeared and what can be done to avoid the further extermination.

Ø 2014: Camp leader in summer English language school. My duties were organising events for 7-12 years old children, and assisting teachers during the lessons. Through this experience I learned how to get children interested and what kinds of activity they enjoy the most.

Ø 2015: Camp leader for disabled children in eco village (Archangelsk). During the camp my colleagues and I acquainted the children with the nature of Archangelsk and helped with them on a local eco farm. My duties were also to plan their activities during the day and help with preparing eco meals.

About Me

I enjoy reading (especially classics), writing short stories and drawing. I enjoy learning foreign languages; I’m fluent in English and now learning Serbian (as my first language at the university), Old English and Latin (just for pleasure). I am not a big fan of sports, but do attend a yoga club twice a week. Recently I joined a volunteering project considering working with orphan teenagers, and few time a week I meet with my colleagues and teenagers to do some activities together.

I consider myself as a responsible and rather cool-headed person. I always think twice before doing something. I always schedule things beforehand, I always know what time I have to go somewhere and get to bed in the evening, but I don’t actually care if my schedule suddenly changes. It is easier for me to talk about something that bothers me frankly, and I always prefer discussing things first to keeping secrets. I prefer family and friends gatherings to big parties, but I am always up to having some fun. I believe in faith, and I am grateful for each person and each meeting that happens in my life because I am sure that it gives both sides something extremely important we needed to learn.
