Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Merker Roman. I finished Tomsk State University, Psychology Department. During my student years, I've been in the USA twice and once in Spain. In Spain, I took part in a volunteering project where an international group was building houses with "clean" materials. There I trained my skills how to cooperate with people from different backgrounds and how to solve difficult situations alone (I came a day early and didn't have a place to live). My first travel to the USA was a three weeks psychology class of Counselling and Art-therapy. It was an amazing experience for me as a psychologist and as a person due to a very different attitude in the USA to psychology and different mindset of other people. My next travel to America was a Work and Travel program where I worked as a waiter and housekeeper for 3 months. I learned how to work hard because some days we worked from 8 until late night. Through the program, I found a lot of friends with whom I still get in touch. Living in the dorm during my education, I found out how to be responsible and respect others people and their views because we (4 people) lived in the small room. Without any doubts, I can take care of myself with no problems. During my last year, I helped a professor from the USA with translation the Art-therapy course.
