My skills
Hi! I grew up on an agricultural farm in central Kansas, growing wheat, corn, and soybeans. I always knew I wanted to farm and have been helping out since I was a kid, but as I got older I wanted some independence from my family and to be able to have a positive influence in a different way. Because of this, I chose to get a degree in secondary education with an emphasis in math at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, where I also ran cross country and track all 4 years of college. After graduation, I stayed in Phoenix and taught high school math for 3 school years. Teaching teenagers was a great experience for me that taught me a lot of patience, control, organization, (how to have thick skin, lol) and was just a passion of mine. I also coached cross country, soccer, and track and field at the school, and worked at a sports bar as a server on the weekends where I learned great customer service skills. I have just returned back to the farm to help my dad out, but also to have the ability to travel during the winter when there isn't much farm work to be done. I love to travel, experience new things, meet new people, and I also love to work. I am very trustworthy and reliable. Another fun fact is that I love taking care of animals and am usually good at it. I have a love for all animals and I think the animals can usually sense that (: I have experience with dogs, cats, goats, turtles, and ducks.

About Me
I love to work, and feel like I am having a positive influence on other people. That might be by helping them learn something, or maybe just by being polite and making their day better. Outside of work, I love to run, hike, read, take care of animals, and just relax with friends. I'm really open-minded and love to learn new things. I think I am very lucky to have the life I have been given, and I want to always have a positive influence on others. I think every day should be appreciated and used to try to improve myself and the world. Aside from all that, I do like to have a work routine to keep my life somewhat organized.
