I attended Rhodes University. Rhodes not only gave me a higher education, it introduced me to so many various people and cultures. I learnt a lot from other people and I learnt many life lessons whist at Rhodes that helped me mature and become more streetwise. I studied the following below because I am interested in business as well as the social construct within business.
Bachelor of Social Science Degree – majoring in Organizational Psychology and Industrial & Economic Sociology.

I first started studying journalism after school, which led me to doing internships with media companies. From there my interests seemed to divert away from media in which I followed. In saying that, reading and writing is an interest of mine that I do in my free time. I really enjoy reading books and many articles of my interest that I feel keeps me knowledgably of my surroundings in the fast changing world and society of today.

Working abroad as a snowboard instructor taught me a lot about myself as well as people. It gave me experience in how to communicate and relate to different people. It taught me to become street wise and make a plan.

I worked for Vision Packaging, which is a plastic packaging manufacturing company, as the Production Manager. I have been working for Vision Packaging since September 2014. Working at Vision Packaging has taught me to think outside the box and come up with solutions immediay in order to keep the customer happy. I am involved in Management of Production, Stocks and Human Resources. My role consists of managing the quality and efficiency of production ensuring it is time and cost effective, controlling all forms of stock and managing people/labour as well as interacting with suppliers and customers. I am also involved in the financial side of things, where I use Pas ing every day. I have also travelled to China and Malaysia on business where I was involved in visiting and negotiating with, suppliers and customers on various products and materials. Working at Vision Packaging has taught me a lot about business.
