Core Responsibilities
◆ Breakdown and planned calibrations on various pressure, level, temperature and flow instrumentation as well as pH, turbidity, total chlorine, UV transmissivity, dissolved oxygen and chemical analysers of different manufacturers including VEGA, HACH, ABB, Endress+Hauser, Siemens, Royce Water Technologies and Rosemount
◆ Calibration of electric and pneumatic valves including setup and install work
◆ Breakdown and maintenance on equipment including AC and DC motors, pumps, PLC’s, UV treatment, RO membranes, bio-reactors, chemical dosing systems, clarifiers,
compressors and blowers.
◆ Fault finding using PLC code and determining any changes that may need to be made to the current program.

◆ Partake in the tailings drying project involving a new section of plant and upgrading of the entire plants PLC and communication network.

◆ Liaising with operations with regard to repair work and machine down time.
