​JORC / SAMREC Compliant Pre-Feasibility Drilling Program on known ​Cu-Co deposit
• One of three on-site Geologists supervising both Diamond (24/7) and RC Drilling Rigs ( approx 4500m diamond and 7500m RC ) - working from remote field camp in DRC
• Geological interpretations including working sections and detailed geological documentation, orebody and contour mapping. Plotting of all field data.
• Using a portable XRF iPac, and observing while the boreholes were surveyed using a Reflex EX Trac single shot survey instrument.
• Drill pad preparation, design and implementation of drilling programs.
• Organising / supervising field crews of various technical levels-Field Technicians (12) and Casual labour (38) ( French/basic Kiswahili)

• Field Camp Construction and Maintenance – overseeing construction of pit latrines/showers and field accommodation, emplacement of a water line from the borehole to camp.

• Liaising with RC and Diamond drilling personnel to maintain schedules generated for use in planning and developing the exploration programme.
• Rehabilitation of site and demobilisation of camp and personnel.
• Research and historical data desk top studies, report writing, assembling & ​accessing field data and pre-feasibility studies for inclusion into client ​reports. Compiling and reporting intersection summaries for assay results. ​Cross ​sections and GeoMagnetic profiles. Compiling soil sampling data.


Interests
I attempt to maintain a high level of fitness – (frequently to be found in the gym). In May 2014 my friend and I climbed part way up Mount Kilimanjaro and that September (2014) after finishing my contract in Tanzania I enrolled on a 6 week set of RYA sailing courses in Cape Town and the Western Cape. Completing successfully the RYA Day Skipper Sailing Certification as well as Competence in Marine Fire Fighting/VHF Radio/Radar Operation/Diesel Engine/Powerboat and Jet Ski Certifications.
I am a conscientious, hardworking, highly motivated, dynamic and versatile person with a lively and outgoing personality treating each new day as a new adventure; this is reflected in my attitude to life and work.
