Secondary English Teacher
I have currently been employed by SMART Teachers and have been working at a secondary school in Tilehurst in the English department teaching over a range of different year levels. This position involves organizing and analyzing relevant data, being in with parents, students and teachers as well as general classroom management and organization.
Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa April 2009 – December 2012
Pastoral Care Coordinator
While employed at Good Shepherd Catholic College I taught a variety of subjects from years 8-12 and ran the Responsible Teaching Program at the College. The subjects I was involved in were across all curriculum areas and I have taught in Junior subject areas such as Math and Science in casual circumstances. Adding to my teaching load, I was also involved in a plethora of extra-curricular activities, which include establishing the Young Christian Students (YCS) group and coaching the Queensland Independent Secondary Schools Netball (QISSN) team. As part of this role, I organized school, year level and smaller group trips as well as deal with concerns from parents, teachers and students in acceptable ways.
Elanora State High School, Elanora October 2008 – December 2008 & February – April 2009
Final Practicum (6 weeks) & Casual Teaching
At Elanora State High School I was a senior teacher of a variety of subjects. These included Year 9 English, Year 10 Ancient History, Year 11 English, Year 12 English and Year 12 Modern History. My role as a casual teacher allowed me to develop and improve my behavioural management skills.

Practicum placement (4 weeks)
At Goondawindi State High School I was able to participate in a behaviour management micro skills professional development workshop that was being run.

I have also held a variety of positions in the hospitality industry from waitress to management roles, which have assisted in the development of customer service skills and teamwork.
