About Me
Hello everyone!
My name is Ivana and I'm a 20 year old biochemistry student studying at Trinity College Dublin, in Ireland.
I have a passion for languages and travel and for this reason, I recently got two TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) diplomas, achieving grade A in both. I'd love to use these skills to help other people around the world with their English, for short periods of time during the summer, either through a language school or with a host family.
I love working with children and I currently give private language lessons to children between the ages of 9 and 17 years old. As well as that, I babysit for a family (children aged 7 and 9) a few times a week. I also have a little brother who is 11 and we spend a lot of time together!
I am involved in volunteering on a regular basis, especially with a project called Operation Christmas Child, where I help many less fortunate children get a Christmas present from good people that are willing to donate. Other than that, I enjoy hobbies such as acting, skiing, running and yoga. I also played basketball for years for my secondary school team. I am an adaptable and cheerful person who loves travelling, working with children, learning about new cultures and helping others!
